After closing on Monday to undergo a name change, the re-branded Jack Casino Cleveland in Ohio re-opened on Wednesday afternoon complete with new signage and an original red décor.

Opened in 2012 as the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, the downtown venue has changed its name to reflect the recent re-branding of owner Rock Gaming to Jack Entertainment with the overhaul additionally seeing 1,800 pairs of dice, 30,000 decks of cards and 400,000 chips replaced.

The name change also involved patrons transitioning to the new ClubJack rewards program while players now have only 180 days to redeem receipts from any of the Cleveland casino’s 1,600 slots.

Jack Entertainment, which also operates the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati and Jack Thistledown Racino, announced in February that it was changing its name before purchasing the remaining minority stake in the Cleveland venue from Caesars Entertainment Corporation and taking over all management duties.

“Jack is the voice of adventure,” Darlene Monzo, Chief Marketing Officer for Detroit-based Jack Entertainment, which also intends to re-brand its casino in Cincinnati. “It is that rare friend who entices you to step outside of your comfort zone, forget your fears, have fun and live in the moment, for the moment.”
