Circa Sports is preparing to unveil Kentucky’s largest retail sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin, with an official opening scheduled for this summer. This exciting expansion is set to bring a cutting-edge betting experience to both Kentucky and Tennessee residents, especially fans in Nashville. The venue will span over 5,100 square feet, with numerous features designed to elevate the fan experience.

A first-class viewing experience:

The centerpiece of the new sportsbook is an 80-foot-wide LED screen, offering fans a massive, immersive viewing experience. Accompanying the screen will be a 31-foot-wide odds board, displaying real-time updates and betting lines. The space is designed to create a thrilling atmosphere for sports enthusiasts across the region.

Guests can enjoy a variety of seating options, including 113 stadium-style seats, luxury recliners, and three tiers of booth-style seating. This flexible seating arrangement is aimed at accommodating all guests, whether they’re there for a casual game or a full day of sports entertainment.

The sportsbook will also offer five staffed betting stations, one of which will be ADA-accessible, ensuring easy access for all visitors. In addition, four self-service kiosks will be available, with three of them located within The Mint Kentucky Downs casino for added convenience.

As part of this state-of-the-art setup, Circa Sports has partnered with VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network), a renowned sports information network that will host a broadcast studio on-site. This studio will provide continuous coverage, offering in-depth analysis and expert commentary on sports events throughout the day. VSiN’s daily broadcasts, podcasts, and digital content will help guide bettors as they make informed decisions.

Circa Sports’ expansion and vision:

Circa Sports, which already operates sportsbooks in Nevada, Illinois, Iowa, and Colorado, sees this new Kentucky venue as a key milestone in its expansion across the United States. Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports, expressed his excitement about the development in the company’s press release, published by PR Newswire: “After operating in Kentucky for a year, introducing a sportsbook of this caliber to the region marks a significant milestone for Circa Sports,” he said. “Together with The Mint, we’re creating a high-tech betting destination that will bring a new level of live-viewing excitement for customers across both states.”

The collaboration with The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs is particularly significant, as it expands the venue’s range of entertainment options. Vice President and General Manager Johan Mirkovic shared his enthusiasm: “The Circa Sportsbook adds yet more amenities for our guests enjoying The Mint Gaming Hall’s gambling, entertainment, and dining options. This region, spanning the Kentucky-Tennessee border, is a true sports enthusiast’s haven.”

With football season approaching, the new sportsbook aims to become a prime location for fans to gather, watch games, and enjoy a premium viewing experience. Whether it’s college football Saturdays, NFL Sundays, or other major sporting events, The Mint is set to become a go-to destination for both locals and visitors.

The Kentucky sportsbook joins Circa Sports’ growing list of state-of-the-art locations, including its flagship Las Vegas sportsbook, the largest in the world. This expansion reflects Circa’s commitment to providing high-quality sports betting experiences, offering fans not only top-notch odds but also an exciting atmosphere to enjoy live events.

As Derek Stevens noted, “We wanted to provide the experience that no one else really has to offer out there… and we wanted to bring the Circa Sportsbook into the valley so you can showcase something for the community where everybody can hang out and have a good time.” This new venue will offer something for everyone, from seasoned bettors to casual fans, ensuring that sports fans have the best possible experience.
