The Saratoga Casino Hotel in New York has been busy over the past few months working on a $40 million expansion project which included a new upscale steakhouse as well as hotel and other amenities. The venue will see the new Morton’s steakhouse open for business tomorrow while the new hotel, featuring 117 guest rooms and suites, will open on the 30th of June, which is this Thursday.

Originally known as the Saratoga Casino and Raceway, the 75 year old venue changed its name back in April to the Saratoga Casino Hotel. The venue will now offer new amenities along with the new hotel and Morton’s Steakhouse including indoor swimming pool, ballroom and more. The presidential suite of the new hotel will be available during the Saratoga Race Course season at $700 to $800 a night on weekends.

The Saratoga Casino Hotel General Manager, Tom Wiedmayer, released a statement on the new openings this week by stating that the opening of Morton’s along with the new hotel and additional services and amenities will transform the entire guest experience at the Saratoga Casino Hotel. The venue now looks forward to welcoming loyal guests of the Saratoga as well as tourists who make Saratoga Springs a world class destination.
