Gambling website blacklist continues to grow in Latvia

iGaming Business – The Latvian Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspection, the IAUI, has added a number of new domains to its blacklist of gambling websites. Websites that feature on the list are not allowed to operate in the country. Leading services such as Ladbrokes.com, Mrgreen.com, Marathonbet.com and Unibet-1.com all featured on the list, which has been updated for the second time this month following an initial publication earlier in August. Other websites named on the update list include 888ladies.com, Everestpoker.com, WPTpoker.com, Mobibet.com and Club777.com. (More)

The Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association {GBGA) has filed a legal challenge against a law introducing a new gambling licensing regime in the UK. Pennsylvania Casino Revenue Up in July

PRNewswire-USNewswire/ – Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $61.1 million in July 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represented a 1.93% increase in revenue from table games play during July of this year compared to July of 2013. iGaming Business – The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Arizona Coyotes has agreed a deal for Gala River Casinos to become the new naming rights partner of the ice hockey franchise’s home arena. Subject to approval by Glendale City Council, the deal will run for nine years, from the 2014-15 campaign until 2022-23. iGaming Business – Australian entertainment group Crown Resorts has cited the success of its operations in the Chinese gambling resort of Macau as one of the main reasons behind a significant growth in net profit during the 12 months through to June 30, 2014.
