iGaming Business – The UK Gambling Commission has issued a reminder to offshore operators that wish to continue providing gambling service to consumers in Britain that the deadline to apply for a licence is midnight on September 16. The application deadline is in advance of the Gambling (licensing and Advertising) Act, which comes into force on October 1. Offshore operators that are currently regulated overseas but transacting with consumers in the UK and wish to continue doing so after October 1 must submit an application and pay a fee by the deadline tomorrow(Sep 16th, 2014).
