Station Casinos is continuing the rollout of its Seventy Six tavern brand with a new location in the southwest Las Vegas valley. The company confirmed that its fourth 24-hour neighborhood tavern in Southern Nevada will open on April 23 at the corner of West Tropicana Avenue and Grand Canyon Drive.
The new venue will take over the former site of The Den LV at 9837 W. Tropicana Ave. and adds another local-focused dining and bar concept to the Station Casinos portfolio. The company has been building the Seventy Six brand as a tavern option aimed at neighborhood customers looking for food, drinks, sports viewing, and limited gaming in a casual setting.
Bobbie Rihel, vice president of small properties at Station Casinos, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Seventy Six to the West Tropicana neighborhood and continue expanding our tavern presence across the valley.”
She added, “Our goal is to create a welcoming place where locals can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, catch the game, and feel right at home.”
Fourth location adds to Seventy Six expansion
The April opening will mark the fourth Seventy Six site to launch in Southern Nevada since the brand debuted in late 2024. The first location opened in October 2024 in North Las Vegas near Centennial and Lamb. A second followed in January 2025 on Aliante Parkway, also in North Las Vegas. The third opened on January 22 in Henderson’s Union Village area on Vitality Drive.
This latest location shows that Station Casinos is continuing to invest in smaller-format neighborhood properties alongside its larger casino operations. The tavern model is designed to give residents a nearby venue that stays open around the clock and combines dining, beverages, and gaming under one roof.
The West Tropicana property is described as a 10,000-square-foot location and will include an outdoor patio. Like the earlier Seventy Six venues, it is expected to serve as a local gathering point rather than a destination driven by tourists.
Station Casinos has emphasized the community role of the concept. The company views the taverns as places where residents can stop in for late-night food, casual meetups, sports viewing, or bar-top gaming without needing to travel to a full-scale resort.
Menu and tavern concept focus on comfort food
Seventy Six is named after 1976, the year Station Casinos was founded. The brand leans into a classic Americana style and combines that visual approach with an elevated comfort food menu.
Guests at the new location can expect burgers, sliders, sandwiches, salads, and entrees, alongside a full-service bar. The tavern will also offer more than 45 domestic, imported, and craft beers, along with wines and handcrafted cocktails. The gaming component includes 15 bar-top gaming machines.
The food program was created by Chef Danny Wilkins, who developed the menu for the tavern line. Station Casinos has said the core menu stays consistent across the different Seventy Six locations, while daily specials vary by site.
Wilkins previously said: “Even if you wanted a grilled salmon at 3 a.m., you can get that.”
He also pointed to menu items designed to stand out from more conventional tavern food. “You definitely don’t get a PB&J smash burger like the one we’re doing,” he said, as reported by Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We make the raspberry jam in-house, so it’s a little bit different than what everybody else is doing. It’s sweet. It’s spicy. It’s savory.”
He added: “You can get a stuffed burger, if that’s what you want, at any time of the day.”
The company has also promoted other menu items such as hand-battered fish and chips and breakfast offerings including Hillbilly Hash, positioning the tavern as an all-day dining option rather than a limited late-night bar menu.
Happy hour will be available twice a day, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. Specials will include dishes such as loaded tots, pretzel bites, and pimento cheese dip priced at $7, along with fish tacos and pulled pork sliders priced at $8. Drink offers start at $4 for beer and $5 for well cocktails during those windows.
The repeated late-night and early-morning specials reinforce the 24-hour focus of the concept. Station Casinos is clearly targeting a broad local audience, including residents looking for food and drinks outside traditional dining hours.
