Yggdrasil has entered the United States commercial iGaming market for the first time after securing an exclusive content partnership with Caesars Entertainment in Michigan and New Jersey.

The agreement makes Yggdrasil games available through Caesars’ online casino operations in both regulated states. Players can access the supplier’s content through Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, along with Horseshoe Online Casino.

Aristocrat Interactive facilitated the technical integration that brought Yggdrasil’s portfolio into Caesars’ existing operations. The initial launch introduces Valley of the Gods to players in Michigan and New Jersey, while additional titles from the supplier are scheduled to become available in the coming months.

The deal marks Yggdrasil’s first active presence in the US online casino sector and expands its distribution into two established regulated iGaming markets.

Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, said in a press release that the addition supports the operator’s efforts to expand the selection of games available across its online casino brands.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to bringing players fresh and entertaining gaming experiences across our online casino platforms. We’re proud to introduce Yggdrasil’s innovative content to players in Michigan and New Jersey and look forward to building a strong and successful partnership together.”

Valley of the Gods Leads Initial US Release

Yggdrasil selected Valley of the Gods as the first game to go live through the Caesars partnership.

Originally released in 2017, the Ancient Egypt-themed title uses a 5×5 game format. Its gameplay includes multipliers and respins, while extra lives and hidden treasure blocks form part of its feature set.

Valley of the Gods has remained one of Yggdrasil’s established titles since its original launch and now serves as the supplier’s entry point into regulated US online casino gaming.

More games from Yggdrasil’s portfolio are expected to follow the initial release. The companies have not provided a detailed schedule identifying which titles will launch next or when each addition will become available.

Aurora Armaro, Head of Region LATAM & USA at Yggdrasil, described the launch as an important step in the supplier’s plans for North America.

“Launching our first game in the United States with one of the industry’s strongest operators represents a major milestone for Yggdrasil. We see this partnership as the first of many opportunities to bring premium content to players across the North American market.”

Earlier Agreements Set Groundwork for US Entry

Yggdrasil had previously indicated an interest in expanding into North America before completing its first commercial US launch with Caesars.

In November 2021, the supplier announced a content distribution agreement with IGT that gave IGT the ability to distribute Yggdrasil’s online slot content in the United States and Canada.

The company later expanded its presence elsewhere in the Americas. In 2022, Yggdrasil secured an agreement with Rush Street Interactive in Colombia. Through that arrangement, players gained access to Yggdrasil slot content on RSI’s RushBet platform.

The new Caesars agreement takes the supplier into active regulated online casino operations in Michigan and New Jersey, establishing its first direct presence in the US commercial iGaming market.

The partnership also gives Yggdrasil distribution across multiple Caesars-operated platforms from the beginning of its US rollout. Caesars maintains separate online casino brands in both states, allowing the supplier’s games to reach customers through more than one operator-facing product.

More Yggdrasil Games Planned for Caesars Platforms

The companies plan to expand the available Yggdrasil portfolio beyond Valley of the Gods over the coming months.

Aristocrat Interactive will continue supporting the integration of content into Caesars’ online casino operations as additional games become available.

For Caesars, the agreement adds another game supplier to its content offering in Michigan and New Jersey. For Yggdrasil, the partnership converts its earlier North American distribution efforts into a live US market presence.

The supplier has not announced expansion into additional US states as part of the agreement. Its initial launch remains focused on Michigan and New Jersey, where Caesars operates all three online casino platforms included in the partnership.
