Event #10 of the 2020 Aussie Millions has finished up, an 8-Game affair with 70 players competing. The tournament had a buy-in of $2,250 + $250 with $157,500 in prize money up for grabs. In the end, it was Jussie Nevanlinna of Finland who took down the first-place finish after defeating Andrew Kelsall in the final round.

Details of the Event:

When the final table narrowed down to four players, David Steicke had a nice chip lead with just over 700k while Nevanlinna was second with 489k. Andrew Kelsall and Daniel Mayoh brought up the rear with 152K and 56K respectively.

According to PokerNews

Mayoh was the short stack, so he was the first to go. At that point, Kelsall would take the chip lead and before long, Steicke would exit in third. This would leave Kelsall and Nevanlinna to battle it out for the title.

The final round of the 8-game poker event would be 2-7 Triple Draw. On the final draw, Kelsall would be all in and hold the short stack. Nevanlinna would call and turn over 9-8-5-3-2 with Kelsall drawing live with 6-5-4-2. Kelsall would show a 10 of spades, which signaled his bust out in second place, giving Nevanlinna the hand and the win.
