The Creek Casino Montgomery, soon to be known as the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery, has almost completed the new updates, costing the Poarch Band of Creek Indians $65 million. The upgrades of the expansion project will include a hotel with 123 guest rooms, entertainment venues, full service salon and dining areas.
Rolin Construction is one of the contractors working on the project. President of the company, Shawn Rolin, stating that as a tribal member, having been able to work on the project and delivering the finished product on time and within budget brings about a sense of pride.
Finished portions of the project include Lucille’s Eatery which is a casual eatery that opened earlier this year. Additional dining options to be added include Itta Bena and the B.B. King Blues Club and Restaurant. Most of the new amenities should be open by the 15th of December, with the tribe stating in the past they would begin accepting guests by January 2016.
