iGaming Business – The PokerStars UK subsidiary of the Amaya Gaming-owned online poker brand is set to launch a new platform in the UK today (Monday).

According to an email sent to customers, the launch of the new PokerStars.co.uk platform will be pushed out to customers from 2pm GMT.

The new platform is being launched in accordance with the operator’s new UK Gambling Commission licence.

In order to continue accessing their accounts, PokerStars UK customers will be forced to move their accounts by downloading an updating desktop client or mobile application.

In a statement on its website, PokerStars UK said: “The process is quick and straightforward, and will usually take under a minute to complete.
