After announcing a new daily jackpot campaign last week, leading digital casino solutions provider NetEnt, has announced they will be the first supplier to launch in Portugal via PokerStars Casino. The deal comes as NetEnt continues to work on their strategy for growth in regulated markets. The technical integration has been successful and a selection of popular games from the supplier is now live at the brands of The Stars Group in Portugal.
The Stars Group is known as a leading online gaming company, offering their services across the globe. The company is most well known for the online-poker brand PokerStars, as well as for their PokerStars Casino, Full Tilt and BetStars.
Commenting in a press release on the new game integration, NetEnt Chief of European Market Operations and MD NetEnt Malta, Carl Silverstolpe, stated: “I am very pleased and proud that The Stars Group have selected NetEnt as their very first go-to-market partner for the regulated market in Portugal. We are working in very close and trustful collaboration with The Stars Group worldwide and already have most of our best-in-breed games available to our players.
Silverstolpe commented further the he is confident that NetEnt’s market-leading portfolio of gaming content will help to support the strategy of PokerStars Casino to provide the ultimate player experience to their Portuguese customers.
This is not the first deal PokerStars has been a part of involving their online casino. Earlier this month, The Stars Group announced that PokerStars Casino had partnered with Play’n GO to gain access to the complete portfolio of games offered by the slot specialist.
