The Oneida Nation is preparing to offer sports betting via their casino venues, including the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, after announcing a partnership with Caesars Entertainment Corp. The partnership was made known this week with the National Indian Gaming Commission set to review the move with approval needed before operations can get started.
Caesars Partnership:
With the new relationship between the Oneida Nation and Caesars Entertainment, players of the Turning Stone, Point Place Casino and Yellow Brick Road will be able to take advantage of additional rewards. Players of these casinos will be able to exchange any TS Rewards loyalty points at Caesars Properties for Total Rewards Points. The TS Rewards loyalty points can also be redeemed at Caesars properties.
The very same exchange will be made available for Total Rewards Points members who visit the Oneida Indian Nation casino properties. The new relationship is a win-win for players as they now have more options when it comes to rewards.
According to localsyr.com…
In 2019, the Turning Stone Casino, Point Place Casino and Yellow Brick Road Casino will all open The Lounge with Caesars Sports, once the review from the National Indian Gaming Commission is completed. The New York State Gaming Commission must also issue sports betting regulations that must be adopted by the Nation along with their gaming compact.
Opening New Venues:
The announcement of the new sports betting partnership comes at the same time as the Oneida Nation prepare to open their new Point Palace Casino. Set to open next spring, a job fair was hosted just a few weeks ago in order to staff the facility. The new casino needs to fill more than 200 full time and part time openings.
