In keeping with its strategy to widen its portfolio and build brand awareness in new markets, NetEnt has inked a partnership agreement with Instant Win Gaming (IWG) that will see the latter create instant win games based on intellectual property (IP) from the Swedish developer’s popular games.

Under the terms of the deal, the first games produced by the UK-based supplier of instant win games will be made accessible to players in Q3 2020. The games will be available across IWG’s commercial operator network of 21 lottery clients comprised of WLA (World Lottery Association) and NASPL (North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries) lotteries worldwide, as well as via the supplier’s Progressive Play RGS (remote game server).

Strategic sense:

In an official press release, Chief Commercial Officer for NetEnt, Andy Whitworth, commented on the company’s latest partnership deal, saying…

“We are happy to partner with IWG and this is in line with our strategy of widening our portfolio reach and building brand awareness in new markets. This is an important move for us as it enables NetEnt games to reach new players in the lottery sector. IWG has an established reputation for delivering instant win games, so partnering with them made strategic sense. We are certain that great new games will come out by combining IWG’s skill and our renowned IP and we really look forward to launching them to players.”

The London-headquartered supplier of online instant win games to lotteries on HTML5 mobile and desktop and Flash has launched more than 250 high-performing games that are available to all global lotteries. All of the firm’s games content can be re-versioned for any market.

Proven game themes:

Also commenting on the tie-up, Chief Executive Officer for IWG, Rhydian Fisher, added…

“We’ve long been fans of the IP that NetEnt creates and to be able to offer these brands for the first time to our network of 21 lottery clients in Europe, North America and Australasia is very exciting for us, our clients and our players. We’re really looking forward to working alongside the team at NetEnt to develop new gaming experiences for their players, while also providing our global lottery partners with content featuring proven game themes.”

Recent business:

In related news, IWG recently scored a supply agreement with the Kentucky Lottery, expanding its footprint in North America. Included in the launch is the UK-based firm’s flagship Super Cash Buster, game, which for the first time is able to be played in portrait mode.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, NetEnt debuted its portfolio of renowned slot games and marketing tools with leading operators Arena Casino, Germania and SuperSport in Croatia‘s regulated market. The move comes after last month entering into both Colombia and Switzerland, launching its games with Grand Casino Luzern, on the Alands Penningautomatforening (Paf) platform, and Grand Casino Baden, on Gamanza Group AG’s platform.
