Since mid-February, the partypoker MILLIONS Online has been in full swing. Players have been competing in a variety of events, from standard NHL options to more obscure formats. Just this week, Event #21 finished up with Ali Imsirovic earning the first-place prize in the High Roller Turbo tournament. For the win, Imsirovic banked just over $97,000!
Quick Event
The tournament had a $2,100 buy-in and only had 65 players competing. It would take under six hours for the competition to conclude. Only 11 players would cash out, so everyone was trying to hold out as long as they could. The total prize pool up for grabs was $325,000.
By the time the field narrowed down to just two players, it would be Wiktor Malinowski and Imsirovic duking it out in the final head-to-head matchup. The prize difference was over $37,000 between first and second, so both were ready to give it their all. Eventually, the final hand would go down with Imsirovic in the lead and Malinowski was not able to come up with the cards to earn the win. He would bow out in second, leaving the first spot for Imsirovic.
