The 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona began on April 7th with Casino Barcelona playing host to several top poker tournament events. There were two €25,500 Super High Roller events on the schedule, with the first one finishing up with 88 players taking part. The event guaranteed €2 million in prize money and with so many players competing, the prize pool was boosting by €134,000. In the end, it was Andreas Eiler who earned the first-place win, after defeating Rainer Kempe in heads-up play.

There were several top pros at the final table, including Team partypoker Kristen Bicknell. She would exit the event in 8th place and interestingly enough, her boyfriend, Alex Foxen, would make the final table as well, being eliminated in 7th place. Other big names taking part including Erik Seidel, who finished in 3rd, leaving Eiler and Kempe to compete in the heads-up round.

When the final hand went down, Eiler’s Ace-nine would stand firm against Kempe’s Ace-six, giving the pro the win and €700,000 in prize money, according to the partypoker blog. The MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona continues with the Main Event set to begin on April 11th. This poker tournament has a buy-in of €10,000 + €300 and guarantees €10 million in prize money. The Main Event will finish up on April 15th, when the winner will be crowned.
