Poker players will be excited to hear that partypoker LIVE events are back in action in 2022. This year, the brand returns to the United Kingdom, set to offer its first tournaments this month at Dusk Till Dawn. The schedule includes a two-day event with the Grand Prix UK kicking off January 16.
Details of the Grand Prix UK
Dusk Till Dawn will host the Grand Prix UK from January 16 to 23. Players can buy into the event for £150 and compete for £100,000 in total prize money. The online poker room is inviting players to buy-in in early, so they don’t miss out on the opportunity to compete. It is expected that the event will be popular among gamers.
The tournament is quite flexible, providing players with options for online play as well as in-person. Party will host four online Day 1s, with two taking place on opening day. The second two will run on January 18.
The live portion of the event will begin on January 20 with three days of live Day 1s. Day 2 is set for January 23. Players can enter the live Day 1s online with a holding tank to secure a spot in the event. Players who make it to Day 2 are set to earn a cash prize.
An exclusive option to the tournament that players can take part in is The Sprint. Levels for this type of online Day 1 will be only three minutes long. This speeds up the qualifying process for players who want to try and earn a seat as fast as they can.
Online Incentives
With the option to compete online or in live format, players can easily secure a spot in the partypoker event. If you want to add incentives in the mix, then the online entry is key. Players who enter the event online or use an online holding tank for live play will receive an entry to the Golden Chip Last Longer option.
The winner of this event will earn a ticket to the £1,100 Main Event for a festival that will be happening in March. This is an added bonus as a player can compete in the Grand Prix as well as a future event if they win this tournament.
Head of Live Events for partypoker, Dan Rose, commented on the return of live poker by stating: “We’re really looking forward to getting back to live poker and returning to Dusk Till Dawn with the much-loved Grand Prix brand. The team can’t wait to be back on the ground and meet the players after such a long time away.”
The upcoming Grand Prix is sure to see a solid turnout as players are ready to return to the felt after an extended break.
