Australian gaming machines and iGaming innovator, Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, reportedly opened “the first dedicated gaming showroom” in the Philippines. As GGRAsia reports, the gaming facility is part of Aristocrat’s new offices located in Pasay City, Manila, in the vicinity of the popular Entertainment City casino area.

Showcasing the Latest Gaming Developments:

The company reportedly stated: “Displaying a full range of games currently successful in the Philippines such as Dragon Link, Tian Ci Ji Lu, and 5 Dragons Pearl, the showroom also showcases Aristocrat’s comprehensive game roadmap for the next 12 months. This means that local operators do not have to travel to trade shows or overseas to view the latest games – they can do so conveniently right here in Manila.”

Talent Development:

The popular gaming machine maker intends to use the showroom for training and educational purposes to comply with the regulatory requirements of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor) for ”talent development within the [gaming] sector.” Aristocrat will therefore implement its training and educational program designed to focus on professionals in the Philippine gaming industry.

The company simultaneously focuses on its customers and uses the latest development to facilitate Philippine operators’ easier access to the latest trends in the industry. As a gaming machine developer and digital game provider, Aristocrat has comprehensive offerings which are fine-tuned in in-house situations to be dispatched to the market once their optimum performance is ensured.

”The Best Experience in the Industry”:

Lloyd Robson, general manager of Aristocrat for Asia, might have relied upon such background to reportedly say: “We’ve tripled our team [in the Philippines] and now we have a first-class office and showroom to give our customers the best experience in the industry.”

The official opening of a new Aristocrat’s venue in Manila was attended by more than 40 key accounts and representatives from the Philippine gaming industry led by Pagcor officials and gaming executives from the nearby Entertainment City casino resorts. The casino and gaming area, Entertainment City, comprises Solaire Resort and Casino, Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila, and Newport World Resorts as four top-tier hotel and casino resorts in Manila and nationwide.

For this reason, Aristocrat might have located its dedicated gaming showroom just around the corner from the famous gaming area to be ready to swiftly react and adjust to the latest industry requirements, as well as to have its latest gaming developments quickly implemented in the Entertainment City resorts and facilities.

Market Performance-Driven Decision:

The company’s decision for the latest expansion seems a natural consequence of its recent performance in the Philippine market. As of September 30, 2022, Aristocrat reportedly had its Class III-standard casino slots growing to increase the company’s post-tax earnings by AUD36.9 million (US$24.5 million).

When filing the annual report to Australian Security Exchange in December 2022, the company said that such growth was “due to new, large openings in the Philippines, as Asian and European markets continued to emerge slowly from post-Covid-19 lockdowns,” as GGRAsia reports.

The Philippine competent authorities estimate that the gaming market in the country will continue to grow in 2023 at around a 15% rate over the previous year to generate $4.41 billion in gross gaming revenues by the end of the year. This fact seems like a logical driver for the  Aristocrat premier gaming showroom development in the heart of the booming Philippine gaming activity.
