On Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 the Buffalo Bills announced that their Super Bowl champion star veteran linebacker as well as the highly – respected NFL pass rushing specialist, Von Miller, will now have no choice but to miss the entire remainder of the 2022 – 2023 NFL season due to an ACL injury that required surgery to repair.

Although the Buffalo Bills may be disappointed now as this may be their year, they are still excited to have Von around right now for his strong NFL veteran leadership and great unifying locker room presence. Not to mention Miller should be able to return to play in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills next season.

Super Bowl Hopes of the Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are young, exciting, very talented, well coached and led, and they continue to play hard and compete for that elusive Super Bowl championship title to bring back to Buffalo as God knows they will never host one in their home stadium of Highmark Stadium located in the heart of Orchard Park, New York.

Their fans are also as loyal as can be, and they definitely deserve to get a Super Bowl victory as soon as possible. Remember all those consecutive (4 of them) Super Bowl appearances led by Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Bruce Smith in the 1990’s only to be denied by superior talent – stacked teams like the early to mid 90’s Dallas Cowboys teams who won their share of Super Bowls during that last golden age of professional football in America!

Von Miller’s Football Background

Von was born and raised in DeSoto, Texas, and he eventually ended up playing his collegiate ball at Texas A & M University from 2007 to 2010. Miller was selected by the Denver Broncos with the 2nd – overall pick in the 1st – round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Von Miller played for and was quite successful in the league at a very young age with the Denver Broncos from 2011 up until 2021.

Miller was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Los Angeles Rams franchise midway through the last NFL season. After testing his NFL free agency market, he will join the AFC East powerhouse Buffalo Bills where Von will immediately make an impact on and off the gridiron. He will lead the defense as a captain with great veteran leadership especially in the locker room of young NFL stars such as quarterback Josh Allen and wide outs like Emmanuel Sanders and Stefon Diggs.
