Caesars Corporation, a top-tier casino company, offers 400 jobs for its multimillion-dollar premier destination resort casino in Danville, Virginia, to be temporarily opened still this summer. Once the construction of Caesars Virginia is completed in 2024, the resort casino will hire more than 1300 positions.

Hiring events in progress:

The construction of the brand-new casino is underway in Danville’s area. At the same time, Caesars Virginia managers held the first hiring event on Thursday at Averett University’s athletic complex on its North Campus, 707 Mt. Cross Road. in Danville with another one to be held today at the same place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The company is looking to fill around 400 positions before the casino is temporarily opened this summer.

Caesars is actively looking to hire competent individuals to fill open positions in table games and slot operations facilities, as well as in surveillance and security teams and finance and warehouse departments. As the temporary opening is rather close, a lot of staff will start working immediately.

Looking for staff across the region:

Chris Albrecht, the General Manager of Caesars Virginia, said the company has hired a lot of local people but is also looking for qualified individuals from the entire region. “We’ve been in Caswell County, we’ve been in Greensboro, we went with the Chambers, we met with a lot of the colleges and universities that are ready. So we are looking for talented individuals not just here in Danville, but from the entire region of Virginia surrounding us here in Virginia and North Carolina region,” Albrecht said.

Albrecht said that the company will focus on the region as cities like Reidsville, Yanceyville, and Greensboro are all less than an hour away. Also, many employees commute to Danville from these cities to make the company focus its hiring process on the region either. Albrecht said: ”We’ve been looking at opportunities on the North Carolina state is well with smaller events and the chambers of commerce and things like that so we will continue to both small and large events to really help build this team out.”

Caesars Virginia in Danville is a multimillion-dollar premier destination resort casino, with more than half-billion dollars to be invested by the City of Danville and a significant investment for Piedmont as well.

Upon its completion in 2024, the property will include a 500-room hotel and a premium casino gaming space with more than 1,300 slots, 85 live and 24 electronic table games, a poker room, and the Caesars Sportsbook. It will also feature amenities like the spa, pool, bars, restaurants, a live entertainment theater with 2,500 seats, and around 40,000 square feet of conference space. Starting in 2024, Caesars Virginia will offer its comprehensive Caesars Rewards player loyalty program to existing customers and those residing in the Danville region.

The hiring process continues:

As soon as it is completed, the casino will need to have around 1300 positions filled.
