ICE London and iGB Affiliate London 2020 were postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Now, Clarion has announced the new dates for the 2021 editions. ICE London will take place at the ExCeL London Exhibition Center from June 29 to July 1. The iGB Affiliate London will take place on July 1 and 2 at the same Exhibition Center in the UK.

New Changes

Clarion made the decision to move the London gaming events due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The organizer completed a close consultation with stakeholders and found that many requested that more time take place before the events were scheduled. This would allow the economy to stabilize and travel regulations to ease.

Kate Chambers, the managing director for Clarion Gaming, commented on the date changes by stating: “This extension provides a number of important advantages compared with April, not least enabling the very best possible space configurations and accessibility at ExCeL London.”

Chambers stated further that there will be additional market recovery time by the time the exhibition takes place which Clarion feels will help to further enhance the support delivery, outcome, and experiences for participants.

Starting in February, Clarion will start The Road to ICE and iGB 2021. This will be a series of digital opportunities for attendees to participate in. This will allow individuals to meet digitally and provide previews of content as well as products and other items. There are also plans for the event to be broadcast live globally which will be the first time that this has taken place in the industry.
