This week, Clarion Gaming has announced that the ICE London and iGB Affiliate conferences have been postponed. The events were going to be smaller this year due to COVID-19 and take place at the ExCel exhibition center from June 29 – July 1.
Stakeholder Concern
The decision to postpone the conference for a second-year running was due to concern from industry stakeholders. In a statement, Clarion Gaming said that the events will now take place in early 2022 after requests were made from the customer base.
ICE London will take place from February 1-3, 2022. For iGB Affiliate, the conference will run from February 3-5. The ExCel London will continue to play host.

Key partners of the conference have shown support for the postponement as it places the safety and well-being of others above all else. The past year is one that has been unprecedented for the gaming industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic and concern continues as new variants of the virus have been discovered.
Continuing in Amsterdam
Even though the London events have been changed, Clarion Gaming plans to continue its iGB Live at RAI Amsterdam. This marketing show is scheduled to take place from September 28 – October 1. Stuart Hunter, the Clarion Gaming managing director commented that the company is focused on helping all sectors of the gaming industry bounce back from 2020.
Hunter stated further that the team at Clarion is ready to help its loyal stakeholders no matter where they are and in any way possible.
ICE London and iGB Affiliate London have been unable to function since last year. In October, the events were postponed due to COVID as well. The June and July dates were announced last year with the expectation that the virus would be long gone. However, that is not the case and additional precautions are needed to ensure that anyone involved remains safe from the coronavirus.
