As of today, the official name of the Creek Casino Montgomery will become the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery. The name change takes place as the venue has undergone an expansion costing $65 million, including a larger gaming floor, retail shop, salon, hotel, swimming pool, food and beverage services, event center and barber shop.

Today, the gaming floor as well as BB King’s Blues Club will open at 10 a.m. for guests to enjoy. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians have been working hard to upgrade the venue, deciding to brand this facility in line with the Wind Creek Wetumpka casino and hotel located in Wetumpka as well as their Atmore venue, the Wind Creek Atmore.

The new gaming floor of the casino will have over 2,200 gaming machines as well as a gaming room that is non-smoking. Entertainment can be enjoyed at BB King’s Blues Club and restaurant with enhanced dining options and featured musicians nightly. The full expansion of the property will be completed toward the end of December, with an fine dining restaurant and hotel added. The hotel will have five stories with 123 guest rooms, including a luxury salon, events center and eight luxury guest suites.
