In Russia, Diamond Fortune Holdings has reportedly announced that a Japanese firm has agreed to invest in its envisioned integrated casino resort for the Primorye Integrated Entertainment Resort zone near the port city of Vladivostok.
Japanese joy:
According to a Wednesday report from GGRAsia, the Russian developer declared that an entity known as Simple Create Company Limited is now set to ‘participate in the construction’ of the planned $270 million facility, which was to be known as Selena World Resort and Casino but has now begun utilizing the simpler working title ‘Imperial’.
Powerful plans:
Thomas Gibbons, Chief Executive Officer for Diamond Fortune Holdings, reportedly explained that the first phase of his firm’s coming Russian integrated casino resort will likely open in September of next year following around 18 months of construction. He detailed that this initial stage is set to feature a 300-room hotel alongside a casino offering some 300 slots as well as approximately 50 gaming tables.
Solid schedule:
The executive added that future phases are expected to involve the construction of a second similarly-sized hotel alongside other amenities such as restaurants nightclubs, shops and a spa to be definitively determined ‘according to market conditions’. He also purportedly proclaimed that the fresh investment from Simple Create Company Limited had not altered his firm’s deadlines and that ‘all targets are on track and the schedule remains the same.’
Visa ease:
For his part, Sergey Sidorov, Chairman for Diamond Fortune, reportedly told GGRAsia that the finished integrated casino resort some 31 miles north of Vladivostok is expecting to welcome up to 340,000 guests a year from across eastern Asia. He praised Russian officials for ‘a lighter visa regime’ that permits citizens of some 18 nations including Japan, South Korea and China to obtain visas upon arrival so long as they have submitted an online application at least four days in advance.
Sidorov added…
“We have adjusted the project of the hotel and entertainment complex to make it even more modern by taking into account the growing needs of Russian and foreign tourists.”
Investment ‘confidence’:
Simple Create Company Limited is involved in a wide range of business activities including real estate and the sale of refined petroleum products. The firm recently partnered with local entities to open a medical center in the nearby Khabarovsk Krai region of Russia and purportedly pronounced that it decided to invest in Diamond Fortune Holdings’ coming integrated casino resort due to ‘confidence in the success of the project.’
