From the 5th to the 7th of February, the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room will play host to six different tournaments, including a large event with a guaranteed prize pool of $25,000. The format of each tournament will be no-limit Texas Hold’em, with satellites on offer allowing players to earn a seat to the bigger events for far less the buy-in.

On February 5th, the poker room will offer a $15,000 guaranteed event which will have a buy-in of $165, starting stack of 15,000 and blind levels every 25 minutes. Later in the evening, the schedule will then see a $1,500 guaranteed event, with a smaller $45 buy-in with 20 minute blinds.

On Saturday, the 6th, the series will kick off with the $25,000 guaranteed event which will have the largest buy-in of $200 with 15,000 starting stack plus 30 minute blind levels. In the evening, the card room will offer a guaranteed tournament of $1,000 with a buy-in of $35 and 20 minute blinds.

The final day of the tournament weekend will be Sunday, with two more events on the schedule. The first is a $5,000 guaranteed tournament with a $75 buy-in, smaller 10,000 starting stack and 20 minute blind levels. The final event will be a $500 guaranteed tournament with a $35 buy-in, 10,000 starting stack and a Deep Stack Turbo format.

On top of the regular schedule, the poker room will also provide two satellite events which will provide seats to the $25,000 guaranteed tournament. One in 10 players will be able to earn a seat to the biggest guaranteed event. Each satellite will run at 7:15pm, one on Monday February 1st and one on Wednesday February 3rd. Each satellite will have a $25 buy-in and will have blinds set at 12 minute intervals.

The month of February will also offer specials for poker players including Hold’em cash games paying $2 per hour for the month with hours being tracked on a weekly basis, from Sunday to Saturday. A 25 hour minimum will be necessary to collect cash. All other cash games will be paying $1 in comps each hour during the month, with no minimum to qualify for payment.

February will also see room rates cut back at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, when players take part in four hours of poker game play.
