For the very first time in Major League Baseball history, all fifteen home teams earned a win on the same day. After the Mariners took down the Orioles 6-5 in extra innings, history was made, giving one William Hill punter a big payday.

A 46 year old, yet to be identified better of Dublin, Ireland placed the 15-team parlay wager at William Hill and with the win, earned $100,810. The UK bookmaker paid out the wager which includes each major league home team plus a few round-robin wagers.

The bet was equal to $78.10 in US currency and had odds of close to 1,300 to 1 that the bet would be won. After winning, the man from Dublin told William Hill that he would not have placed the wager if he had known that the 15 home teams had never all won on the very same day.

In previous years, the home wins had gotten as high as twelve without a loss and that record was set in May of 2014. It is very odd for home teams to go without a loss in high numbers, so this event was certainly one for the history books.

According to past wagers, a bettor from Delaware wagered $5 on the 15-team parlay in November of last year and would have earned $100,000 if he had chosen the right 15 NFL teams. The 15-team parlay may never be hit again and the bettor from Dublin is surely thankful he made the wager after earning the big win.
