For the first time ever, the World Series of Poker Circuit will be visiting Tbilisi, Georgia, traveling to Eastern Europe. Adjarabet will be hosting the event, offers players action at the Tbilisi Sports Palace, an indoor sports arena, from the 3rd to the 9th of March.
Organizers of the event are creating a 19 day schedule with a unique 7 Rings in 7 Days tag line to this circuit stop. The big events of the tour stop will be the No Limit Hold’em Main Event which will have a buy-in of $1,100 and a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. This event will take place from the 6th to the 9th of March.
The Adjarabet Championship will run from the 4th to the 6th, offering a $100,000 prize pool and a $330 buy-in. Organizers have planned at least $700,000 in guaranteed prize money to be handed out over a seven day time frame.
The schedule of events will not be released until December 1st but the organizers have confirmed that the buy-ins will range in price from $25 to $2,200. The Main Event winner as well as the Player of the Series will earn a seat to the WSOP Global Casino Championships which has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
This 2015/2016 season of the World Series of Poker Circuit is significant as it marks the first time the circuit has moved from the United States and moved into new countries. Successful events have already taken place at the King’s Casino located in the Czech Republic and the Casino De Campione located in Italy.
