Airing on the CBS Sports Network, Poker Night in America is a popular show that covers live poker game play, with many top pros taking part. The next filming will take place at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort of California with popular poker pro Phil Hellmuth to be participating.

The tournament series will begin on the 21st of January and will have several events on the schedule including the $1,650 Main Event. The Main Event will have a starting date of the 29th and continue until the 1st of February. The final table of this event will be televised. Local players will have the opportunity to compete against Hellmuth, who recently confirmed that he will be taking part in the Main Event.

Hellmuth is a master of poker, having earned 14 WSOP gold bracelets and accumulated over $19 million in live tournament earnings. On the All-Time Money List of poker, Hellmuth is sitting in the number 8 spot. Besides taking part in the Main Event, Hellmuth will also be featured in an episode of Poker Night in America. This will not be the first time the pro has been featured on the show, nor will it be the last.

A High Stakes Cash Game will be filmed by Poker Night in America from the 29th to the 31st of January, alongside the Main Event, at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort. The hotel and casino is home to 250,000 square feet of space for gaming that includes 103 table games, 2,500 slots and a live poker room named Up the Ante.
