The online casino and sportsbetting brand at Mybet is being re-launched after a little over seven months of dormancy and British iGaming software innovator, EveryMatrix, has just announced the signing of a deal that is to see it supply the revived service with a new back-end platform.

GamMatrix alliance:

The London-headquartered innovator used an official press release published by European Gaming Media and Events to reveal that the agreement will involve the new-look Mybet brand utilizing its flexible and scalable GamMatrix gaming management platform, which comes complete with a range of player management and customizable reporting tools.

Bankruptcy hiatus:

One of Germany’s most well-known and respected online casino and sportsbetting brands, Mybet was forced to close in September after over 15 years in business when its then-owner, Mybet Holdings SE, filed for bankruptcy due to being unable to pay a local tax bill of around €4 million ($4.54 million). However, Malta-registered firm, Rhinoceros Operations Limited, purchased the inactive service in December before unveiling plans that is to see it re-float the dormant brand later this year.

MoneyMatrix mastery:

EveryMatrix used the Wednesday press release to declare that its GamMatrix back-end platform will be able to provide the latest incarnation of Mybet with a ‘seamless wallet’ utilizing its MoneyMatrix payment processing service alongside an extensive portfolio fraud detection and prevention tools.

Responsibility pledge:

Stian Hornsletten from EveryMatrix proclaimed that his firm’s GamMatrix innovation furthermore ‘supports responsible gambling rules’ for multiple jurisdictions within the European Union by offering operators the ability to establish ‘reality checks’ and time-out mechanisms as well as loss, deposit and wagering limits.

Hornsletten’s statement read…

“We already have a strong partnership with Rhinoceros [Operations Limited] and we gladly stepped up to the challenge of helping Mybet create such detailed integration. Mybet is a powerful brand with high notoriety and we are pleased to provide our technology for its renewed journey. The new integration is a solid proof of GamMatrix and CasinoEngine’s high-availability, scalability and performance.”

Sportsbook integration:

February saw Rhinoceros ink an arrangement that will see Kambi Group power the sportsbetting services to be offered by the latest incarnation of its Mybet brand. Hornsletten stated that such operations have already been integrated into its back-end platform in order to ‘bolster the operator’s growth.’

Abiding affair:

For his part, Tobias Carlsson, Chief Executive Officer for Rhinoceros, declared that his firm has ‘a long-standing relationship with EveryMatrix’ and that this has helped both ‘to successfully compete in the marketplace.’

Carlsson’s statement read…

“We are confident this great cooperation will continue also with Mybet. Mybet was one of the pioneers in the German sportsbetting field and together with EveryMatrix and our other partners we will do everything in our power to revive that legacy and bring players the experience they desire and deserve.”
