American sportsbetting giant FanDuel Group has announced that will soon debut its FanDuel TV-branded service as the world’s first linear and digital television network exclusively dedicated to sports wagering content.
The New York-headquartered firm used an official Thursday press release to detail that the new channel is set to launch across the United States from next month as a successor to its popular TVG Network service complete with programming from The Ringer Podcast Network established by respected sports analyst Bill Simmons in 2016. For fans of horseracing and the company stated that its coming FanDuel TV-branded network will also ‘feature a stacked line-up of unparalleled coverage’ encompassing experts such as Todd Schrupp, Mike Joyce, Britney Eurton, Gabby Gaudet and Christina Blacker in addition to live coverage from tracks including Santa Anita Park, Keeneland Race Course, Del Mar Fairgrounds and Pimlico Race Course.
FanDuel Group pronounced that its FanDuel TV-branded innovation is to be made available via a wide variety of providers including Spectrum, Verizon, DirectTV, Dish, Cox Communications and Hulu while moreover offering horseracing fans ‘unmatched coverage’ of events including the upcoming Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The pioneer explained that this service will furthermore be presented across direct-to-consumer platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku as the similarly-branded FanDuel+ and come complete with programming from the team at Pat McAfee Incorporated (PMI) Network.
Mike Raffensperger serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for FanDuel Group and he used the press release to disclose that his firm’s coming FanDuel TV-branded service is to also feature the Daily Morning Show program chaired by the past host of the NFL Network’s Good Morning Football program, Kay Adams (pictured). As if all of this wasn’t enough and FanDuel Group divulged that its coming FanDuel TV-branded service is to additionally host the More Ways to Win sportsbetting show with former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Lisa Kerney. The company asserted that this program will supply aficionados with ‘analysis and insight of the major sports leagues’ and be joined via a licensing deal with Sportradar AG by more than 3,000 hours of live broadcasts encompassing international basketball action from Australia’s National Basketball League and the professional setups in China, Germany and France.
