It was reported on Monday that Bryan Micon has been charged with a Class B felony in Nevada for his role in the bitcoin-only Seals With Clubs online poker site. Gaming regulators and the Nevada Attorney General’s Office are pursuing charges related to operating an online poker site without a license.

Micon was charged with a single count of operating an unlicensed interactive gaming system. A Class B felony in Nevada carries a potential 10 year prison sentence and  $50,000 fine.

According to Micon, in February, “A bunch of guys with guns broke down my door, put me in handcuffs, serving a warrant from the Nevada gaming commission.”

The site was shut down immediately, players were advised to withdraw any funds right away, and Micon fled to Antigua where he opened another bitcoin poker site, SwCPoker.eu.
