In Connecticut, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has announced that its Foxwoods Resort Casino is partnering with investments firm Victory Square Venture Capital Incorporated in order to establish a new enterprise that will develop and market innovative interactive gaming and betting-related entertainment technology.

Last month saw Foxwoods Resort Casino become only the second American property of its type to premiere skill-based video game gambling machines from developer GameCo Incorporated, and its latest joint venture, which has been christened Foxwoods And Victory Square Ventures Living Lab, hopes to offer various types of interactive solutions to licensed sites around the world.

“Foxwoods [Resort Casino] is thrilled to partner with Victory Square Venture [Capital Incorporated], joining two of the most innovative minds in the gaming industry,” read a statement from Felix Rappaport, President and Chief Executive Officer for Foxwoods Resort Casino, which is the largest resort casino by overall space in North America. “The [Foxwoods And Victory Square Ventures] Living Lab is an exciting enterprise that represents not only the next step in Foxwoods [Resort Casino’s] gaming evolution but our commitment to leading the transformation of the industry as a whole and continuously giving guests unique experiences that excite. This is the future of gaming.”

Last year saw the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation launch its FoxwoodsOnline free-play service offering a collection of over 100 online casino games and the federally-recognized tribe declared that the “first-of-its-kind partnership” with Victory Square Venture Capital Incorporated is set to “redefine interactive entertainment” courtesy of a “proprietary suite of innovative digital gaming experiences.”

“At Victory Square Venture [Capital Incorporated], we are actively on the lookout for new products, services, and platforms that engage and entertain today’s millennial and “Generation Z” audiences,” read a statement from Ray Walia, Managing Partner for Vancouver-based Victory Square Venture Capital Incorporated. “It is really exciting for us to be able to partner with a forward-thinking group like Foxwoods [Resort Casino] and not only work alongside its experienced team but also entertain and engage its current and future guests. We can’t wait to tap into our international pool of entrepreneurs and engineers and start deploying interactive solutions into the [Foxwoods And Victory Square Ventures] Living Lab.”
