Leading B2B provider to the iGaming sector, GameAccount Network (GAN ), has announced that the company has gone live with Italian sports betting and casino operator, GoldBet.

GoldBet is GAN’s 9th client in Italy and has, as a result of the integration, cemented the company’s position as the leading provider of Internet gaming content in the Western European country.
Significant presence in Italy:
GAN noted that Goldbet operates over 900 retail betting shops throughout Italy, which account for about 3% market share of Italy’s Internet casino gaming.
To date, GAN provides upwards of 500 top-quality casino slots, table games and non-traditional games to nine operators in Italy, which reportedly represents over 45% of the of total gross gaming revenue generated in the country.
Ninth operator:
The supplier already has established deals with eight operators in Italy, including high-profile brands such as Sisal and Snaitech, having launched its first Italian client, SNAI SpA, online in September 2008.
Commenting on the new partnership, Chief Executive Officer for GAN, Dermot Smurfit said…

GoldBet purchase:
In July this year, Italian gaming operator Gamenet Group SpA agreed a deal to purchase all of the capital in GoldBet for approximately $310 million. Last year, the Austria-headquartered company reportedly generated approximate earnings of $46.6 million.
