Spring is here and that means more fun for online poker players. Top-rated online poker rooms often provide special events during this season, with plenty of action available at the felt. GGPoker just announced a Spring Festival is coming to the poker site, featuring $150 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series will offer gaming options from April 4-28, with plenty of extra action on the side.

Festival Atmosphere

GGPoker is taking great care to create a special festival feel with the new spring series. The Festival will be broken down into stages. The first stage will be Week 1 and it is titled the Opening Stage. Players will be able to take part in unique variant events including a $1 million guaranteed tournament with a low $80 buy-in. There will also be Omaha events taking place during this week.

Week 2 consists of the Headliner Stage and Main Stage. In the Headliner Stage, players can take part in plenty of online poker events including a Super MILLION$ Main Event. This tournament has a huge, guaranteed prize pool of $10 million. Starting flights for this event start on April 11.

The Headliner titled online poker event will feature an NLE version and a PLO option. The NLHE Headliner has a $400 buy-in and includes a guaranteed prize pool of $2.5 million. The PLO NL Headliner has a $400 buy-in as well as a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.

For the Main Stage section, players will be able to compete in several big events. There is the NLHE Main Event, which includes a $1,500 buy-in and $10 million in guaranteed prize money. There is also a PLO event with the same buy-in prize point and $2 million in prize money.

Leaderboard Competitions

On top of the standard Spring Festival, GGPoker will also be offering a leaderboard competition. The leaderboard will have three tiers and every week will offer up $300,00 or more in prize money. There are three weeks of leaderboards, with a Low, Medium, and High section.

Week one, the High leaderboard pays out $150,000 in prizes while Medium pays $100,000 and Low pays $50,000. Week two has the same prize pool totals for each section while week three ups the ante and includes $200,000 for the High board, $125,000 for the Medium leaderboard, and $75,000 for the Low leaderboard.

GGPoker will also be broadcasting some of the action on GGPoker.TV. This will include the final tables of the Super MILLION$ events. Fans can tune in to the poker room’s channel to check out all the action.
