GGPoker’s mini MILLION$ is in full effect with players from around the world competing in various poker tournaments at super low buy-ins. As part of the series, the online poker site is offering a mystery bounty main event that is currently underway.

The mini MILLION$ Mystery Bounty Main Event has a super low buy-in of $10.50 but features a huge prize pool guarantee of $1 million! Around $500,000 is taken from the amount to offer the mystery bounties during gameplay.

Several Day 1s on the Schedule

The special main event is going to be massive and offers several Day 1s. This gives online poker players plenty of time to compete in the event. Players can pay the full $10.50 to compete or win a seat through various satellites that are offered at the site for as low as $1.05.

During Day 1, players are given 10,000 in chips and blinds begin at 50/100/12a. The blind levels increase every eight minutes, so gameplay is fast paced. Late registration is open until the 10th level ends and players are allowed unlimited re-entry until late registration comes to an end.

Each Day 1 will be over once the 16th level is completed. Players that hang around until the end will move on to the final day of the main event. October 17 marks the big day and those who make it are in the running for a mystery bounty payout.

What is a Mystery Bounty?

If you are new to this type of poker tournament, you may be wondering how it works. The GGPoker mini MILLION$ main event will function like a standard tournament in no-limit hold’em format. On the final day, when a player eliminates another, they earn a mystery bounty.

Because the bounty is a mystery, you don’t know how much you will receive until you knock another competitor out of the competition. It will be a portion of the $500,000 set aside for the purpose of bounties.

It is unclear as to how much the amounts will be exactly. According to PokerNews, who spoke with GGPoker, the top prize will be around $50,000. This will be a nice addition to anyone’s bankroll if they manage to hit the top bounty payout!

Players can compete now one of the several Day 1s running at GGPoker. Pay the direct buy-in or compete for the lower satellite price to hopefully earn a seat. There are plenty of options open to all types of players.
