The Global Tote (TGT) is a B2B tote supplier who will now be allowed to broadcast UK and Irish Greyhound racing events and distribute live picture content plus TGT odds services to international bookmakers for punters located across the globe.
SIS Commercial Director Paul Witten commented in a press release on the new agreement by stating: “We are excited to be working with The Global Tote to provide them with some of the best horse and greyhound content in the world. We are sure that this content will prove popular with their customers globally and generate significant revenues.”
TGT is a subsidiary of TopBetta Holdings Limited (ASX:TBH), who’s CEO, Todd Buckingham, commented on the new agreement as well, calling it a ‘significant deal for all stakeholders’. Buckingham discussed how TGT will now be able to distribute live vision and The Global Tote odds service to bookmakers who will then be able to provide punters with access to more content, at the same time, providing competitive pricing.
The CEO stated further: “TGT intends to apply this model across as many bookmaker channels around the world as it can, and will continue to work with bodies from all racing codes that would like to gain access to global markets.”
In 2015, SIS was able to acquire the rights to stream BAGS greyhound racing to international customers. With this new deal, SIS will be able to provide racing coverage from 20 tracks located in the UK, covering a total of 28,000 races. The company currently has similar deals in Europe, South Africa, and central Asia.
