The Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas has recently announced the launch of a new sports betting app in partnership with Miomni Gaming, aimed at sport fans all across Nevada. The app, according to the press release, will allow sport betting from any location in the state and interested players will be able to sign up for it by visiting the casino’s sportsbook with a photo ID and their SSN and placing a cash deposit.
The Golden Nugget is the only sportsbook in Las Vegas that independently offers betting odds, giving the casino’s betting operations a slight advantage over its competitors. But what’s interesting to note is that news of the app launch come only a short while after Wynn Gaming also announced their own sport betting app which coincidentally is designed by the same gaming studio, Miomni Gaming, who are also behind another Nevada betting app launched by Boyd Gaming.
Still, Director of Race and Sports at Golden Nugget, Tony Miller, believes their app is to become one of the best Vegas sport betting options thanks to the “independent lines and odds” that the casino has as well as the variety of proposition bets and events that other sportbooks from the area lack. Namely, the betting variety will cover all the markets currently offered at Golden Nugget’s Race and Sports Book, including totals markets, straight and money line bets, future markets, prop bets, match-ups and parlays.
The Golden Nugget’s Las Vegas Race and Sports Book, according to the casino’s website has more TV screens per square foot than any other sportsbook in the Nevada area, with luxurious booths to complement the experience. And from now on regulars at the Golden Nugget will be able to enjoy the same betting variety, minus the luxury comfort, right from their smartphone screens.
