In a press release presented on Tuesday, the Gongzi Jeju Casino announced that it had officially opened its doors on the holiday island of Jeju, in South Korea, according to the management of the property. The venue had a period of renovations and then pre-launch which began in late April and officially launched with a grand opening on July 16th.

Located in the Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, the casino is for foreigners only and offers a small selection of gaming options, including 24 slot machines and 45 table games. The casino covers 40,000m2 of gaming space. In the past, the casino was operated under the Ramada Plaza Jeju Casino brand. The new Gongzi Jeju Casino is a representation of a major boost in the economy for Jeju in regards to the gaming industry.

In the press release, Gongzi Jeju Chief Operating Officer Lysa Evans commented that Jeju has been brought all the latest gaming technologies and gaming integrity that is parallel to Macau as well as Singapore and other world-class gaming destinations. The vision of the casino owner with the redesign was to create an experience in gaming within a location that is accessible with relaxing entertainment options and beautiful natural scenery.
