As the government struggles with offering around the clock immigration in the city’s newest terminal the Las Vegas Sands has been restricted to hourly runs with its ferries in Hong Hong at night.

The casino’s ferries run between the temporary terminal at Pac On in Taipa and Hong Kong every half hour during the day, reducing down to every hour at 6:30pm and very two hours between 1:00am and 5:00am.

The Macau government has asked that the ferries get reduced to no mroe than every hour at night to help them cope with immigration demands. Some visitors from Hong Kong going to events in macau have found themselves virtually stranded unable to get tickets on full ferries.

This month the ten ferries run byt the Sands carried approximately five hundred thousand passengers and can carry up to twenty-one thousand per day. They would love to up their sailings to every fifteen minutes if the government allows.
