Agilysys, a top provider of next-generational hospitality software solutions, has partnered with the Grand Casino properties of Minnesota to provide their suite of software services for the locations in the east central portion of the state. Several options will be integrated into the Grand Casino Hinckley and the Grand Casino Mille Lacs, including rGuest Pay, InfoGenesis POS and InfoGenesis Flex.

The new software solutions are being added to help streamline the operations of the casino as well as enhance the guest service experience. The properties have used the management system of Agilysys LMS, for some time and will be upgrading these services.

Both of the Grand Casino properties include over 1,000 guest rooms and nine restaurants, as well as gaming venues. A point-of-sale and payment gateway solution was needed to be able to provide better service in regards to retail, beverage and food with secure options for cardholder data. The advanced features of Agilysys will help the casinos to boost efficiency while keeping credit cards secure.

Director of Information Technology for both venues, Timothy Johnson, stated that the casinos insisted on using only state-of-the-art technology for the new software to be used for point-of-sale and payment gateway solutions. With Agilysys, the casinos found exactly what they were looking for with mobile as well as fixed POS systems that would streamline operations. Johnson stated that the casinos appreciate the tight integration between the software systems and feel confident that the technology will help to boost efficiency and provide quality guest service.
