Gaming corporation, Great Canadian Entertainment, has announced that its ten Ontario destinations now offer in-person sports bets to guests.

Great Canadian Entertainment, formerly Great Canadian Gaming Corporation,  is an Ontario-based company that operates 25 gaming, entertainment and hospitality destinations in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.  Founded in 1982, the company has been developing these gaming jurisdictions and supporting programs like healthcare, education, and social service with each provincial government concerned along the way. Now, it has also raised the level of its offer.

Sportsbooks offering live games:

Four of its destinations, including Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel, Pickering Casino Resort, Elements Casino Brantford and Shorelines Casino Belleville, have developed Great Canadian Sportsbooks, dedicated sportsbook lounges offering live games to sports fans. The lounges also offer diverse options for food and beverages, therefore guests can watch their favourite game, place bets at the associated stands, and enjoy their favorite menu items.

Six additional destinations in Ontario (Casino Woodbine, Shorelines Casino Peterborough, Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands, Elements Casino Mohawk, Elements Casino Grand River, and Elements Casino Flamboro) are now equipped with sportsbook booths placed inside the existing gaming lounges. The booths cover a wide scope of sporting events and offer a quick and convenient betting service to guests at these destinations.

Focused to enhance the overall gaming experience:

So, Great Canadian Entertainment  has now covered ten of its Ontario destinations with enhanced betting options. “We remain laser-focused on enhancing the overall experience for our guests at our gaming and entertainment destinations, and the launch of sports betting at our Ontario destinations is another demonstration of these efforts,” said Tony Rodio, Chief Executive Officer, Great Canadian Entertainment.

Rodio added: “These onsite additions reflect Great Canadian’s commitment to investing in our facilities and the communities where we operate, as well as creating new jobs and additional revenue that will support local municipalities in Ontario.”

Socially responsible corporate culture:

Since 1982, Great Canadian Entertainment has become a Canadian brand with social responsibility as the proven corporate culture. The company now supports over 1,400 charitable and non-profit organizations across Canada, with a significant portion of revenue from gaming facilities invested in community development programs.

“We would like to thank the OLG, AGCO and Ontario’s provincial government for supporting this important launch for the casino industry across Ontario,” concluded CEO of Great Canadian Entertainment.

The company upgrading its gaming facilities for the societal benefit can expect that its gaming lounges will remain preferred destinations for gaming enthusiasts.
