In South Korea, tomorrow is reportedly set to see Chinese real estate firm, Landing International Development Limited, premiere the new Shinhwa Waterpark entertainment facility for its Jeju Shinhwa World integrated casino resort.

Attraction to offer 13 pools:

According to a report from GGRAsia, the Hong Kong-listed operator explained that the coming 191,511 sq ft facility will be able to accommodate a maximum of 3,400 individuals across 13 outdoor and indoor pools. The firm detailed that the attraction is to also feature an artificial wave pool, cabanas, water slides and sauna facilities.

Transformers-themed interactive exhibition:

To help add to the family-friendly nature of Jeju Shinhwa World, Landing International Development Limited explained that August 3 will see it launch the Transformers Autobots Alliance interactive attraction. This showcase is to involve a series of exhibitions spread across eight areas themed around the Transformers series of American science fiction fantasy action films.

Jeju Island facility continuing to grow:

Landing International Development Limited, which recently received a provisional gaming license for the NayonLanding integrated casino resort it is planning to build in the Philippines, opened Jeju Shinhwa World in April of 2017. It has since been gradually adding facilities to the development on Jeju Island including the 344-unit Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World condominium complex and the 20-ride Shinhwa Theme Park.

GGRAsia reported that Jeju Shinhwa World furthermore features the Shinhwa Shoppes retail development alongside a convention center, two hotels and the YG Republique ‘K-pop zone’ while its 59,2017 sq ft casino offering a selection of 239 slots and 155 gaming tables went live in February.

Ambitious plans for the future:

Landing International Development Limited is hoping to further expand the 617.7-acre Jeju Shinhwa World later this year with the debut of its 540-room Jeju Shinhwa World Shinhwa Resort hotel before subsequently opening the 200-unit Four Seasons Resort and Spa facility in addition to the nearby Lionsgate Movie World theme park.
