On January 31, Yggdrasil, a Malta-based globally-recognized iGaming provider, released Neon Villains DoubleMaxTM, a crime-themed slot that entices players to join the bad side of the law and fight alongside neon bad guys in an attempt to scam people and get their hands on their goods!
Players will be able to enjoy playing this game at ICE as it will be part of Yggdrasil’s booth.
Outstanding visual:
True to its title, the game’s main theme is four Neon Villains and their get-rich-quick tricks. This adventure game is set in an alley during the base game, which changes to a vault with the start of the Free Spins bonus round. The soundtrack matches the atmosphere of the game.
To win, players must form a combination of at least 3 matching symbols on three consecutive reels, starting from the first reel on the left, on the new, dynamic 5×3 grid, which offers 25 paylines. However, in this particular game, the paylines are replaced with 243 winning ways!
The slot is boosted by DoubleMax, a powerful slot game engagement mechanic (GEM) developed by Yggdrasil, which has the ability to gradually increase the potential of the game, meaning that the multiplier doubles for each winning combination.
The basic low-value symbols are suits, spades, clubs, diamonds and hearts, while the high-value bonus symbols are the four Neon Villains in blue, green, purple and red and a gold crown. A combination of five-of-a-kind low-value symbols is worth 0.5x a player’s bet, increasing to 1x to 2.5x for five-of-a-kind high-value bonus symbols.
The game’s volatility is in the super high range, with a maximum win of 250000x a player’s bet and an RTP of 96%. The player’s paid spins can be gambled for 10 p/c to 40 $/eur per spin, and players can trigger the Golden Bet feature if available.
The Golden Bet feature doubles the opportunity for players to activate free spins by increasing the stake price by 20%.
The game can be played on any device.
Slot features:
Dropdown – all winning symbols will be removed from the reels and new ones will replace them on the board. But the Wild is always placed in one of the available positions and is always placed first on the board before other new symbols. If the player gets another win, the same process happens and will continue as long as the player continues to win.
DoubleMax Multipliers – the multiplier trace is located on the left part of the grid and after each dropdown, the multiplier value is doubled. However, the multiplier resets during the base game but during the Free Spins this will not happen as long as the round lasts.
Free Spins – a combination of 3, 4 or 5 scatters rewards players with 7, 9 or 11 free spins individually. Players cannot activate more spins within the feature and the multiplier does not reset between spins, giving players more opportunities to get more wins for each dropdown.
Wild Symbol – the main task of Wilds (golden crown) is to replace each paying symbol, except the scatters, and thus offer more winning combinations. However, it only lands after a win.
Bonus Buy – if the opportunity arises, players can buy free spins, which will cost them 100x, 200x and 500x of the bet for 7, 9 and 11 free spins.
Commenting on the launch, Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, said: “We’re delighted to showcase our latest release Neon Villains DoubleMax, Players have shown a great appetite for our proprietary games and we’re always looking to expand our portfolio with high-quality titles featuring our Game Engagement Mechanics; this neon masterpiece fits the bill perfectly.”
