Red Tiger, an internationally recognized developer of HTML5 casino games based in Malta, has decided to surprise its players with a new addition to its popular Clusterbuster series. The other two slots in the Clusterbuster series are Dragons Clusterbuster and the leprechaun-themed slot, Good Luck Clusterbuster.

The slot is titled Blobsters Clusterbuster and invites players to join an intergalactic adventure, with cute doe-eyed aliens and lots of action.

The main theme of the game is a galaxy with twinkling stars and small aliens led by their leader Blobby. The background is an extraordinary scene of planets, gas and stars.

The soundtrack matches the atmosphere of the game perfectly.

To make a winning cluster, players must form a combination of at least five-of-a-kind symbols that are next to each other vertically or horizontally on a new, dynamic 9×9 grid, with a 3×3 piece in the center, called a Clusterbuster. What’s more, winning clusters vanish from the board to allow symbols to fall from above, possibly triggering consecutive wins on the same spin.

Because of that process, the theoretical RTP is 95.7% and the game’s volatility is in the high range with a maximum win of 7500x a player’s bet.

The player’s paid spins can be gambled for 10 p/c to 10 $/eur per spin and the game can be played on any device.

The basic low-value symbols are J-A, while the high-value bonus symbols are blue, green, red and yellow aliens. A combination of five-of-a-kind low-value and high-value symbols is worth 0,1x to 1,5x a player’s bet, increasing to 20-250x for a combination of 35+ low and high-value symbols.

Slot features:

Clusterbuster feature – if a winning cluster appears next to a 3×3 UFO in the middle of the board, the adjacent lights become green. When each light on the UFO becomes green, this feature is unlocked.

As soon as it’s unlocked, Blobby, the alien leader inside the UFO, triggers it on the next spin. Each light is turned off, waiting to be reactivated on future spins on the same stake. Once features are unlocked, they can be randomly activated during future spins and more than one can be triggered on the same spin when more than one is unlocked.

However, if every light but one is transforms to green, Blobby can become enraged and turn the last light into the player’s name.

When the game starts, the three slot modifier add-ons are locked, which means players must unlock them to activate them. According to abilities, they are:

  • Upgrader – Blobby fires random low-paying symbols that are not part of the cluster, building them up to random high-paying symbols. There can be 8-24 symbol upgrades in normal play or 11-31 in Invader Spins;
  • Frenzy – Blobby fires 5 to 20 symbols on the screen, turning them into wilds. Wilds can substitute for all paying symbols;
  • Supersize – Blobby fires 2-4 random high-paying symbols, increasing them to 3×3 Super Symbols. Super Symbols count as 9 normal size symbols.

Invader Spins feature – after unlocking each of the three modifiers, each time all 8 lights are triggered on the UFO, players are rewarded with 10 free Invader Spins. Throughout Free Spins, modifiers are triggered at an increased rate. Blobby’s UFO can be triggered a maximum of 3 times throughout free spins and when all lights are on.

Every activation rewards an extra +3 free spins. Furthermore, the first, second and third activation apply a global multiplier of x3, x7 and x12 to the round individually.
