PokerStars has announced an expanded schedule for their second season of the LAPT that will begin earlier this year to tie into the highest part of the Latin American tourist season. The first event will be held in San Jose, Costa Rica on November 3-5 followed later by stops in Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. The buy-in for all of these events will be $3,700 while dates and venues will be announced at a later date.

Newly added this year is the LAPT Championship to be held in April after the rest of the events are completed. Buy-in for the championship event will be $5,200 and is expected to attract a large player pool. The location for the championship tournament has also not been announced.
