Independent video slots developer and a multi-channel supplier from Sydney, Lightning Box Games, has just secured approval for entering the market of Portugal via the SG Digital platform which will include its brand of fun slot titles. This was granted by Portugal’s leading regulatory body, Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SIRJ), who has given the green light to the slot developer’s ambition of releasing nine new games to the delight of Portuguese casino goers.

Games to be included in this first wave of releases across the market are Silver Lion, Stellar Jackpots-Chilli Gold x2, Stellar Jackpots-Serengeti Lions, Stellar Jackpots-More Monkeys, Respin Rhino, Dolphin Gold, Redroo, Mild Rockers and Blazing Goddess. Having been permitted to pursue the success for their games, the company is now in distribution-related talks with several notable operators from this European Atlantic-bound country.

Lightning Box’s Managing Director and co-founder, Peter Causley, comments: “We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to expand our footprint into Portugal, an online market that could present a number of new operator partnerships for us. We look forward to announcing those partnerships and the release of more games to the Portuguese market in due course.”

The brand has been around since 2004, when it was established by Peter Causley and David Little.
