Math-focused online and land-based slot specialist Lightning Box has reportedly penned an agreement to distribute its award-winning games portfolio on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform.

Made possible by the three-year deal, the Sydney-based developer’s entire library of titles will be accessible to online casinos using the Quickfire platform. The first Lightning Box title to go live on the network will be Silver Lioness 4x, which will be available in February 2018, with other new titles to follow.

Lightning Box CEO Peter Causley said they were pleased to have signed the Quickfire deal as it affords the developer yet another route to supply the market with even more of their unique Aussie content.

Causley said, “The Quickfire platform is a very strong distribution channel, with over 200 operators integrated, and will open up a host of new opportunities for us with new customers in markets around the world.”

Director of Quickfire at Microgaming, Andrew Clucas, said: “With over 600 Microgaming games and development partner content from over 25 developers, Quickfire is a platform of choice for operators wanting diverse content. The breadth of our offering, coupled with the removal of platform fees for development partner games, further strengthens our position as a one-stop shop.”

Clucas added that Lightning Box is a “fantastic addition to our development partner portfolio and that online, land-based and social players around the world enjoy their games.

Its latest online game, Stellar Jackpots-Serengeti Lions, was recently released by Lightning Box. The game takes players on an adventure into the heart of Africa, where they can take in the sights and sounds of the famous Serengeti including lions, rhinos, zebras, elephants, flamingos and more!
