British online payments specialist Easy Payment Gateway Limited has signed a deal that will see it serve as an official distributor of the Interac2Pay solution from Canadian firm Gigadat Incorporated.

Manchester-based Easy Payment Gateway Limited recently closed a funding round that saw it secure just over $7.2 million to help drive operational growth at new offices in Malta and Madrid with the agreement meaning that it can now distribute the Interac2Pay innovation to European firms, including online casino operators, running Canada-facing services.

Easy Payment Gateway Limited declared that its service features over 220 payment methods and worldwide acquirers to give merchants ‘everything they need to process transactions via a simple yet secure API integration’. It described the Interac2Pay solution as ‘a great option for those who don’t have credit cards’ or ‘wish to transact online with additional security’ as it allows players to make payments via the Internet or in-app directly from a bank account.

Jose Peral, Chief Operating Officer for Easy Payment Gateway Limited, stated that his firm was ‘always looking to strengthen’ its product offering and that the addition of Interac2Pay would mean ‘even more choice for our partners and their players’.

“We are delighted to be one of the first gambling distributors of Interac2Pay in Europe; providing our clients with operations in Canada with additional payment options,” said Peral.

Sebastien Maraine, Business Development Vice-President for Gigadat Solutions, echoed these sentiments before explaining that the agreement would see Interac2Pay put in front of more operators than ever before in ‘most of our target growth markets’.

“It’s been a real pleasure dealing with the guys at Easy Payment Gateway [Limited] thus far and we look forward to working more closely together as additional operators come on board,” said Maraine.
