One of the fastest growing and well attended conferences in the iGaming world will be held over 4 days in November at the Intercontinental Arena, St. George’s Bay, Malta. Malta Gaming Week plays host to a vast array of seminars and gaming related event from November 16 through 19. Industry professionals from around the world will descend on the island for such events as the BiG Foundation Dinner, an iGaming Education Forum, SiGMA conferences and Careers Convention, among others.

In only its third year, Malta Gaming Week has grown by leaps and bounds with a goal of bringing the whole industry together in one of the most important gaming jurisdictions in the world. Last year saw the doubling of delegates, exhibitors, and conference from the inaugural year, and 2016 is shaping up to be even brighter and bigger with SiGMA flying 300 affiliates to town to meet up with operators, vendors, and regulators. Operators were invited to encourage VIP guests to come along, courtesy of SiGMA, and high quality conferences are expected to attract never before seen numbers of C-Level executives to the events.

Malta is home to about 300 gaming companies, 450 licenses, and a 9,000 strong workforce. This year on day two of SiGMA, Malta Gaming Week  will open the doors to all ICT, Law, Accountancy and other graduates and student organisations from 14:00 till 18:00.

Also, for the first time this year SiGMA will present the SiGMA Startup Pitch – several investors and eight good start-up companies will come together under one roof. Keep your eye out in the future for some of these rising stars like Betters’ Rift, SkillCorner, Gamevy, Nextwin, SportsbookCloud, InboundMuse, Sporticos, and Bet Up. The event promises to be entertaining and informative as each startup will have 6 minutes to pitch their product then engage in a question and answer session with the investors and audience.

Attendees can expect a plethora of networking and social events from the opening day to a champagne brunch to close out the week on day four.

The BiG Sports Dinner is a charity event hosted by the BiG Foundation on Wednesday. Attendees can expect a night of sports stories and entertainment while raising money for worthy causes that improve the quality of life for sick, injured, and terminally ill people all over the world.

Late into the night on Wednesday following a networking reception an ice-breaker poker tournament will be held until 1am. And thanks to the state-of-the art Casino Malta, located under the expo hall, guest can enjoy the OlyBet Welcome Party until 2am.

Of course there will be serious business opportunities as well. Responsible Gaming, Online Casino Management, Social Media Marketing, and other subjects will be covered in depth during the course of the summit. The 3 day iGaming Forum will present in-depth and specific educational opportunities. A three day package is available.

Eman Pulis, the organizer of Malta Gaming Week and CEO of SiGMA said: “The SiGMA goal, ultimately, is to bring together the entire gaming community, from affiliates and operators through to regulators and vendors. If you’re looking at an exciting show where this industry can meet, learn and do business, look no further; SiGMA16 ticks all these boxes.”

Some of the VIP Guests that will be present at the summit include Malta’s Minister for iGaming Hon. Manuel Mallia, Betsson Group President and CEO Ulrik Bengtsson, LeoVegas CEO Johan Styren and Liverpool F.C. legend John Barnes.
