The MGM Springfield casino of Massachusetts continues with the construction process, remaining on schedule to open in September of 2018. Several areas of the casino can now be seen coming to fruition including the parking garage, foundation of the resort and casino gaming floor.

The most recent addition to the construction schedule is the new parking garage. The parking garage is moving along quickly and once completed will have seven levels. As many as 3,400 vehicles will be able to park in the garage, making room for many patrons as they visit MGM Springfield. Three levels of the parking garage framework have already been completed.

Over the past few months, the construction crew has laid the foundation for the resort, with most recently laying of the gaming floor for the casino. The gaming floor will be around 125,000 square feet in size.  Reportedly, the Gaming Commission was told by MGM Springfield that the project remains within budget perimeters.
