Novomatic Interactive division, Greentube, recently announced that Michael Bauer has been appointed to the new position of Chief Games Officer (CGO) within the company. This key appointment will see Bauer assist the Vienna-based company in furthering its potential to increase sales as well as realizing its ambitious growth plans. Greentube looks to its new CGO while facing significant opportunities in the ever-changing online gaming industry.
Greentube, having recently gone through internal structure changes, Bauer will now lead the firm’s newly created games vertical effective immediately. Bauer’s long-term goal, according to the press release, is for the company to be the online gaming industry’s leading content supplier. Michael Bauer first joined forces with the Novomatic Group in 2013 and two years later became CFO, a position within the company he will retain.
Bauer commented on the demands of his new role, saying: “Greentube and I share the same ambitions and values, and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to step in as CGO at this very exciting period of the company’s growth. We are producing great games and have a very diverse and localized content portfolio. Especially large customers that operate in various markets will benefit from this fact.
