Only a few days after inking a content supply deal with iGaming operator Wazdan and online casino games and solutions developer, Microgaming, has now announced the launch of its latest video slot in the five-reel and nine-payline, Zombie Hoard.
Slingshot Studios partnership:
The Isle of Man-based firm used an official Sunday press release to declare that it has ‘let loose a swarm of the living dead in Zombie Hoard’ before detailing that the new game was developed on an exclusive basis by Australian partner, Slingshot Studios, which was responsible for last year’s Cash of Kingdoms online video slot.
David Reynolds, Games Publisher for Microgaming, stated that Zombie Hoard comes complete with ‘eye-popping visuals and a catchy soundtrack bursting with bone-rattling beats’ and challenges aficionados to collect wins as they ‘lurch through the city’ in the company of ‘five frightfully fun characters.’
Reynolds statement read…
“Zombie Hoard is an enjoyable new slot from Slingshot Studios, serving up a fun and lively take on the popular zombie genre. The free spins token collect feature adds a great sense of momentum to the game aiding player retention as players build up their grisly heaps of rewarding brains to gain entry into an excellent and feature-packed bonus round that brims with super stacked wilds and a win enhancing double multiplier. Capped off with gruesomely fun graphics and toe-tapping tunes, Zombie Hoard is an engrossing new addition to Microgaming’s diverse catalogue.”
For his part, Richard Vermaak from Slingshot Studios, explained that players can initiate the free spins feature in Zombie Hoard by collecting a minimum of 30 ‘brain tokens’ or a trio of scatter icons. Once there, he proclaimed that ‘rewards are significantly boosted’ via an abundance of super stacked wilds as well as the addition to all wins of a double multiplier.

We can’t wait to introduce players to a lumbering lineup of creepy and kooky characters as they experience spine-tingling fun and thrilling rewards among the great undead.”
